Andy Carre
Founder, Director and Skipper
Andy started up Bailiwick Boat Charters in 2024 with the intention of providing reliable and affordable charters for people who need them. Andy started his career as a carpenter before finding his love for the sea and became a skipper. Andy spent over 10 years at Isle of Sark Shipping company before becoming a full time skipper. Andy is enthusiastic about his job and loves passing on his wealth of knowledge to locals and guests.
Abby Darnell
Crew
Abby is a dedicated crew member, fully qualified committed to providing an exceptional experience for all charters. With a background in Animal Behaviour BSc from the University of Chester, she brings a wealth of knowledge about local wildlife to share with others. Her passion for educating guests about the unique ecosystems around Guernsey truly enhances their experience. Whether on land or sea, Abby is eager to create memorable moments for everyone she meets.
Craig Masterman
Relief Skipper and Crew
Meet Craig, a well-known figure at the harbour for many years! He started his career at just 16, he spent five years on container ships before joining Condor Ferries for two years. After returning to the Island in 1997, Craig continued his journey with local shipping companies, Travel Trident and Isle of Sark Shipping Company. Craigs 28 years of local skipper knowledge and expertise make him a valuable asset to Bailiwick Boat Charters.
